A Good way to Grow your Blog and get more readers is to link up with other blogs. It’s really important to go and comment on other blogs because in turn they will come and read yours – and their readers will also notice your comment and may come back and visit yours too!
When people have ideas and these are passed around they are known as MEMES
Bloggers may call them Linkies/Blog Hops/Carnivals/
These can be Weekly, Monthly, Seasonal, One offs.
Sometimes I find that a small linky – with not many people participating, can actually be quiet good as people tend to all comment on all the entries. Where as a big linky with 100s of entries can mean that your contribution can be overlooked.
I used to have my Memes bunched by the Day of the week you could link up – but I’ve since discovered that you can link up one post to several different memes so I am going to attempt to organise it that way now instead.

The creator of the “meme” was Richard Dawkins in his book The Selfish Gene, and further made popular byDaniel Dennettin his book Consciousness Explained (a very worth while read).
The reason I am adding this bit of Psychology is because the reason I ever heard of them, is that I am lucky enough that Susan Blackmore created a Consciousness module to my degree (and I actually was taught by her for a few sessions) best known for her book the meme machine.
